Andreu Carulla
Based in Banyoles (Girona, Spain), he has been reinventing tableware, furniture, lamps and interiors from his lakeside studio since 2006. His guiding principle is to create pieces with a conscience.
Andreu’s sustainable designs stand out for their combination of technology, innovation and simplicity of materials and shapes. His creations include space at the Spanish Embassy in Helsinki, the “Normal” restaurant in Girona, the “Calma” chair, and the “Bolet” stool, among many other small objects of desire that are born out of his curious and eternally alert mind. He was also Creative Director for Calma, Isist Atelier and El Celler de Can Roca.
